There are plenty of counterproductive aspects of AmeriKKKan black culture, but they often have roots in poverty and oppression.

An "honor culture" that prioritizes saving face, looking hard and keeping it real develops when men don't have other, productive avenues to compete for achievement or status. This is common among poor whites, too, who will fight over trivial shit because they have so little.

Whites have lower recorded rates of criminal activity both when comparing poor whites to poor blacks, and when comparing rich whites to rich blacks.

It's also worth noting that most of the trends that came early to the black community (declining religion, rising births out of wedlock, lower homeownership rates) arrived for whites a few decades later, which suggests these are not uniquely black issues, but indications of broad shifts in how AmeriKKKans live.

Americans have been noted to be getting dumber the past few decades with increased neurosis across the board. At the same time these issues continue to persist more strongly among the black community by a noticeable margin, and in addition among white communities are suffered by the poor whites more frequently than rich whites, which again represents a failed culture causing these issues. Which again supports what I told you.

I tend to agree that only black folks themselves can ultimately remake their communities, but wider society can make that it easier or harder for them. It's telling that both left and right disdain good-faith efforts like Obama's My Brother's Keeper.

Just fix your own home? You are making a scaling mistake, as if every single solution is supposed to pop up ready at the national or community level depending on the issue, and its not instead individuals living their lives and the successful fruitful ones defining the next generation of values.
