Actually, yeah. Hamas got what they wanted out of Oct. 7th. They torpedoed normalization efforts between the Arab world and Israel, in particular Saudi Arabia, which would spell disaster for the Palestinian cause, they inflicted a massive humiliation to Israeli security, they once again put the world's attention upon this conflict and the blight of their people and with Israel's brutal response to the attacks of Oct. 7th the entire region is boiling with anger towards Israel, making the prospect of continuing the Abraham accords an impossibility. They've also managed to turn most of the world against Israel, with several countries already cutting diplomatic ties, boycotts and with many calls to bring Israel to the ICC.
Israel might win the battle but they will absolutely lose the war. The Greater Israel project will be the Zionists own undoing. They have absolutely no else to blame but themselves for the miserable fate that awaits their country. Israel will never know peace until it stops the brutal occupation and oppression of the Palestinians. That's what Oct. 7th has achieved. You can kill 10k, 20k even 100k in Gaza but, as even the Americans know and have said, you can have a tactical victory while also having a strategic defeat. The internal divisions coupled with the external pressures will break Israel.
This also isn't the 70's anymore. The Israeli army of today is but a shell of its former self. This was painfully evident in 2006, when they were humiliated in Lebanon, and the situation has only gotten worse.

Rats are abandoning the sinking ship already. Demographics are a reality, and even though Israel's birthrate might be high, at least when compared to the Western world, the majority of those births are from Haredi or other ultra-orthodox groups, who in a couple decades time will account for more than a 1/3 of the population.

This was true regardless, in fact Oct 7 got a bunch of these ultra Orthodox to actually sign up for the IDF and finally woke up some nationalism in the community so in that sense they seem to have unintentionally helped Israel.
