Classic ZOG cope. Whenever they end up in a war they can't win, they announce that the Americans are forcing them to give up. I wish we could do that. It would have been way easier to just leave Iraq because of "international pressure" as soon as everyone realized what a disaster it was.
I expected they would be saying every day "we killed Abu Mohammed al-Whatever today" and it would be somebody I never heard of but turned out to be fairly important. It's only happened 3 times in this war.
There's very little evidence of actual combat like you would normally see in a war in 2023. As far as I can tell Hamas is hiding in the tunnels and the Israelis aren't chasing them down there.
Considering Israel so far has been warning in advance what sectors it plans to occupy next, I think it's pretty expected they'd clear out along with the civilians. As less and less of Gaza remains unoccupied I expect more high profile leaders will go down.

I'll believe they're flooding all the tunnels when I see it. This requires a lot of work by engineers to build pipelines and stuff, which would expose them to attack, so you can't do it until you actually control the surface.
Maybe they are doing it but they're not releasing any information because it means killing the hostages. I notice they let American tv news channels abruptly stop the daily interviews with hostage families about a week ago.
It's really hard to see it as a success for Israel either way.

I mean, this isn't something Israel controls.

It's objectively still a military success. The lives of the hostages unfortunately do need to be weighed against the lives of soldiers and future Israelis that will die if Hamas is allowed to stay. And there's hopefully no need to do it to every tunnel, just enough that Hamas fighters no longer like the idea of sitting in them. Plus being seen as willing to kill them makes Hamas more likely to give them back, before they lose the bargaining chip anyways.

How are they not winning?
Advances into Gaza and casualties are way better than anyone reasonably expected.

Edit: This looks 50% more antisemitic than it should because I'm marsified.
