Looks more like we can't boycott Disney because they own so much it's difficult to avoid.
That this gets said in response to Gravity Falls stuff of all the fricking things suggests boycotts are demanded by the 'no fun allowed' crowd in their puritan fashion.

It's not difficult at all.
This isn't a Nestle situation where you have to consume food to survive. It's trivial to just not watch content created by conglomerates. You can go read a book, watch some soytuber, play an old video game or even touch grass.

Oh, of course. Just if I wanted to see a film or read a book or buy a piece of tech or any number of things, it looks like they own far more companies than it might seem and they would be hard to avoid.
The megaconglomerates are hard to boycott not because their products are so necessary, but because they own so many companies and brands that it gets difficult to figure out.
