So it turns out that LAPD was able to enter the back of the encampment via Tongva steps because our spineless ass @uaw_4811 leadership let them! I saw the aerial view of this. It was the first assault on the encampment, a few dozen LAPD marched up the steps and were able to enter this round vestibule area fairly easily for reasons now explained. I don't know what the goal was, they were clearly never enough to take the camp, so they just kinda posted up there for 10-15 minutes then left.
