The source that this article cites only shows data for the relative proportions of pro Palestinian vs pro Israeli protests. It does NOT claim that their data shows that 99% of protests were peaceful.

The ACLED article also cites their US Crisis Monitor as the root source for their data. But if you actually go to their page, it does NOT show the data. All it shows is an interactive map that shows the frequency of demonstrations over a time period and what percentage of that is far right... That's it. You can't see the specific events or break down down the data by motivation (pro Palestinian vs pro Israeli), let alone determine which have been peaceful and which haven't. They also don't define what they consider to be peaceful vs a riot.

Some israeli dudes working for a moving company in NY got the day off work. They went to take some photos of shit going down. A woman called the police because she saw them and thought they were too "jovial" (not dancing) in the wake of the suicide attack and that made her upset or suspicious. They were arrested and investigated then released. This is where "THE JEWS DID IT" originates. As for the dancing part... Egyptian outlet MENA interviewed the father of one of the hijackers, he openly wondered why "the Jews they seized dancing in celebration" were not investigated by the US media. USA Today quoted this interview in an article about r-slurred muslim conspiracy theories and that's where western commies and rightoids get the talking point.
