It supposedly works though. It was apparently super easy to lure the Western Civil Affairs foids who got attached to combat patrols to win hearts and minds of Iraqi/Afghan foids and children into IEDs to the point they just quietly discontinued the whole thing.
Just like zero survival instinct on these foids and would actively disregard all warnings from the combat arms dudes and just sprint towards something crying.
