BTW before !commies come here and spam on how the “le occupier and apartheid made Hamas do warcrimes”, Arab savagery, torture, and body mutilation of captured IDF POW's goes back all the way to Pre-state Israel. The most famous instance of this is Egyptian Army behavior at the Bar Lev line in ‘73. Their skydaddy book basically justifies savage behavior against the Kaffir, with no inward self-reflection to be found

Just FYI, Israel created Hamas to rebel against the Palestine Liberation Organization because they thought Islamic jihadism was the best way to oppose a secular organization that protested Israel's apartheid and they got surprised when it blew up in their face, as Hamas turned out to be more violent and ruthless. I do feel bad for these women, but it is also Israel's fault that Hamas exists.

It's crazy how many lefties legitimately believe that Hamas is some Israeli psyop when all that happened is that Israel routed Palestinian aid through a different (and established) non-profit as opposed to Fatah, which was not “secular” in any practical sense.
Fatah collapsed under the weight of their short-sightedness and all their local militants shifted to the new nexus of Palestinian political power. As opposed to drowning themselves, I guess.
In your interpretation of history, was Gaza some hub of noble, nonviolent resistance prior to the Jews “creating Hamas?”

No, but it still wouldn't have been this bad if Israel didn't make matters worse.

This is nonsense. Gaza was always a shithole and only stopped exporting international Islamic terrorism when Egypt and Israel blockaded them in with the west's blessing.
Palestinian nationalists have been highjacking planes, strapping bombs to their children, and kidnapping Israeli delegations for decades prior to the Muslim Brotherhood establishing any chapter in Gaza, under the ostensive permission of Israel or otherwise.
It's just false to claim that Gaza was on its way to stability,” if it weren't for Israel trying to undermine a secular, peaceful leadership.”
The reality is that Arabs in the Gaza Strip are just a nasty, violent sort that have been pointed at western-friendly leadership in the region since the 1960s by the USSR and Iran, and they have never developed beyond being a bunch or warm bodies to dupe and discard.

Violence exists because Muslims are doctrinal obligated to annihilate all Jews everywhere

Their women are also really hot or really ugly and the prospects most Arab men have is dim enough to be driven to extremism.

No, what happened was Israel brought back the radical cleric Ahmed Yassin to Palestine, who was living in Egypt at the time, to establish Hamas in Palestine. Instead of making sure he stayed locked up, Israel deliberately let this guy out specifically so he could create and strengthen a radical faction. If Israel had never propped him up, funded him, and never made him serve out his 12-year sentence instead of releasing him in a year, there would very literally have never been a Hamas.

That's a big cope. Secular arab nationalism has been falling out of favor for political islamism since the end of the cold war. No way would Palestine stay against the zeitgeist. Jewish shenanigans or not.

The non-profit that became Hamas had existed in Gaza over ten years prior (1973) to the prisoner exchange that included the imam you're referencing (1985).
The imam went on to add a paramilitary wing to the non-profit in 1987, because by then Fatah was irrelevant, and there were plenty of Arab nationalists willing to blow themselves up without a political home.
You're blaming Israel for not killing all of the Arab militants after Fatah began to collapse.

Standard leftoid talking point, Israel helped the predecessor of Hamas, which was an Islamist charity organization that helped the elderly and ran soup kitchens, this was done both to raise the standard of living of the occupied Gazan citizens at the time and undermine the PLO, which was Israel's main adversary.
The history is way more complicated than “Hamas was created by Israel to undermine the PLO”. Also while Bibi liked the whole “you can't negotiate a two states solution with two different orgs ordeal”, he also generally helped Hamas get funded by Qatar in order to stabilize the Gazan Quality of life, something that various Western governments thought wasn't that bad until October 7th.
But yes, you are right that Bibi's strategy of keeping the Hamas happy and “deterred” by Qatari money ultimately backfired on innocent Kibbutzniks, even if we come out of this war with a total victory, he must pay dearly for letting this happen
