The leftist pivot from "Hamas has a govermental arm! If you incentivise it by treating them well they'll abandon their plans to kill all Jews" to "How could you not have orchestrated a regime change in gaza?? Clearly you wanted Jews to get killed!" will never cease to amaze me.

The frick are you talking about? That has nothing too do with what @FoidBlaster said.

Israel did not create Hamas. Palestinians created Hamas. Most Palestinians support Hamas. Hamas is bad and their leaders are psychopaths.

Hamas is to blame for Hamas' actions, not their victims.

I don't care if you think all zionists are evil, what I can't stand is apologism for Hamas.

Where did @FoidBlaster say Israel created Hamas? Though you could definitely make the argument that they helped create Hamas much like the US with the Taliban. What @FoidBlaster said was they propped Hamas for decades as a weapon against the more moderate and secular Fatah, and then the PA, with the explicit purpose too prevent unity between Gaza and the West Bank. That's an actual fact as admitted in public record by Israeli leaders, government officials and intelligence whistleblowers.

>Hamas is bad and their leaders are psychopaths.

True but then again so are your leaders so you all have something else in common beyond blood and religious delusions. :marseysmug:

>Hamas is too blame for Hamas' actions.

Yes and so is Israel for the mass slaughter, war crimes and crimes against humanity that it has committed in Gaza and the West Bank. I'm glad we're in agreement here. :teehee:

>YOU CREATED THIS MONSTER

here you are saying that israel created hamas

>AND YOU HAVE NO ELSE TOO BLAME BUT YOURSELVES FOR THEM MASSACRING JEWS ON OCT. 7TH.

And here you are saying that Israel is solely to blame for october 7th. And not, you know, the terrorist organization that planned out and excuted the massacre.

I'm glad you didn't actually mean what you wrote but it would still mean a lot to me if you apologized for misspeaking.

I didn't misspeak. Israel created and strengthened the monster, thought it could keep it under control and use it as a cudgle against their political enemies and then it got out of control and killed over a thousand people. Let's also not forget that Israel knew well in advance of the Oct. 7th plans almost a year in advance and chose not to act on it. It also had highly detailed intelligence a month prior.

So yes, Israel has no else too blame but themselves for Oct. 7th. This doesn't mean Hamas doesn't have responsibility for the attacks, of course they do.

But in the end, Zionist hubris will have them blame absolutely everything and everypony but themselves for their catastrophic plans and schemes.

What should Israel have done based on that intel?

Have the IDF protect Israel's border with Gaza instead of helping their unhinged settlers terrorize Palestinians in the West Bank, for starters, and maybe forbid any public events from happening anywhere close to the border during the expected period of time? I don't know, seems counter intuitive to have your military busy with colonization efforts while there's a credible threat of a massive attack with the express intent of taking hundreds of hostages. :marseyshrug:

But then again, this is the Most Moral Army In The World™ we're talking about here so I'm sure they couldn't possibly be engaging in any kind of activity that isn't in accordance with international law and international humanitarian law. :marseyclueless:

I'll let you in on a little secret. Most Israelis didn't see the threat as credible because, in our view, there was no way Hamas would be willing to start an all out war with Israel given how destructive that would be to the people in gaza and to Hamas.

Sounds like you agree that hamas is dangerous and needs to be put down for good. Good chat!
