Iran have decent drones and rockets technology. Those things now ensure that Israel can't win without US involvement. In 2006 Israel already tried to destroy Hazbollah and kinda failed and back then they ware a lot stronger than Hazbollah in comparison to today. It's legit just seems like Israel has no plans and just goes with the momentum.
