Is this antisemitic or am I a Jewish Karen?

https://old.reddit.com/r/Jewish/comments/1dmg2th/is_this_antisemitic_or_am_i_a_jewish_karen/

On Thursday I went to a local grocery store, it's a chain in 3 states. I was almost done shopping when I heard a few employees hanging out near a register saying something about, "it was made in Israel, I was disappointed, disgusted."

I was upset because don't do that shit on the clock in front of customers and also thanks for the anti Israel hate. I reported it to the team lead who seemed a bit caught off guard and didn't say anything but was kind.

I was still upset. I emailed corporate with a factual account of what happened. I received a call today from a manager.

Her immediate response didn't address my complaint. She said that she knew the employees and had talked to them. She said that she thought they were sad because they had seen a new story in the break room that day about all the dead children and that their feelings were hurt. She maintained that for a few minutes before I acknowledged that dead children suck obviously and could we get back to my complaint?

At that point I didn't feel right about the call and maintained the comments in question were hurtful, hateful, and inappropriate. She repeated that she was sorry multiple times and nothing else. I didn't expect her to move mountains but I did expect a corporation to take more accountability. Moreover the most important part, and the most disturbing part, was her saying that the dead children had made her employees sad and had hurt their feelings which was why they acted that way.

It felt like it's justification to hate on Israel in a retail setting and in front of the general public because,"the dead children." And it's also offensive because it assumes that people who do support and understand Israel don't give a crap about dead children.

My concern is if I am a Karen jew? Should I continue to pursue this and run this up the flagpole. Am I making something out of nothing? I can't tell anymore and I would appreciate any and all comments and perspectives.

It's reddit so you already know what the responses are gonna look like

This is why people hate American Jews so much. They are the biggest Karens of all time and have zero loyalty to the nation they reside in but will jump in front of a bullet for Israel. If those teens had said “it was made in America, how disturbing!” this long schnozz b-word would have clapped and applauded.

There's different tracks of Jews though. There's the LA/NY arts scene Mega Globohomo "America Bad" types, the AIPAC "bomb them flat (on US taxpayer dime)" neocons, and then a small subset of ultra-groofting Orthodox sigma welfare grindset enjoyers

Since Oct 7 I've found that in a lot of cases their globohomosexuality was skin deep. Between Netanyahu and us, they choose Netanyahu. As soon as the media wasn't 100% supportive of Israel they went nuts, openly saying that they need to control the media to prevent this.

Like so many other groups, it was easy for them to be woke before, but once they're cast as the bad guy they suddenly lose all those principles.

It's weirdly wholesome tbh. When realizing preservation is on the line, people are capable of standing up for their people and nation, and admitting the hyper-pozzed "le global citizen" bullshit is just an act to gain social status.

Except that preservation was not on the line in any conceivable way. Hamas can't conquer and hold a single village let alone all of Israel let alone come to America and kill all the Jews here. When you make these delusional claims about how dangerous it is, how it's 1933 all over again, all that does is convince people that Jews are delusional when they claim to be persecuted. It's like when BLM said a black guy pointing a gun at cops was being persecuted for the 10th time and people stopped taking them seriously.

It actually is in the sense that Israel and Jews are totally dependent on goyim for their wealth and existence, and Hamas causing conflict causes them to react which wakes up more goyim to things like Jewish control of academia and media which makes people more likely to push back on Jews. And once that ball gets rolling the pogroms are inevitable.

Before october 7th something like 80% of american jews identified as anti-racist gigalibs who had a totally different ruleset for a certain ethnostate in the middle east. 20% is still a big chunk of people but the data says what it says

I get the feeling that every time Jews have been persecuted throughout history has been the result of their neurotic nepotism eventually pissing off the host nation until they chase them off. Its happened too many times for there to not be a common causal thread.

The whole "god's chosen" shtick probably doesn't help either. Most people probably don't let it get to their head, but when a moneylender gets wealthy and successful, that whole "the goys exist to serve me" thing probably rears its head until the locals lose their patience.

Not just the Jews, but the Arabs, Indians, Chinese, and other insular immigrant groups that focus on acquiring power and wealth in their host nations have historically just been one big political upheaval away from being pogromed. And these groups are often engaged in usury and/or nepotistic financial arrangements.
