When these attacks originally started, who would have thought that Houthis, who don't have any navy (to recycle a popular argument from elsewhere), would be able to effectively defy the military might of US (which is primarily a naval power and this should be their home turf) and NATO which to this day can't do anything about them despite all of the earlier bravado.

America is choosing to let this happen. They could destroy every port in the country and let them all starve if the whim took them
