Yeah it's actually to Hezbollah's advantage that their experienced old guard, that been responsible for more successful operations against Israel and the US than any other insurgency in the Middle East, was killed. Relying on young idealists is definitely a good idea and not something that will just result in pointless suicide missions that give Israel an excuse to exterminate their asses.
