Disregarding for a moment, isn't this a horribly depressing video? It's like a vision of the coming WW3. !grillers in 5 years it could be YOU hiding behind a chair in a bombed-out building from a drone piloted by some bloodthirsty zoomer

Only thing different from the Ukraine vids is that it's inside a building and not out in the open. And it seems to be of a surveillance drone and not a suicide one.
Apart from that, I will be a refugee in a country and will not being stuck behind some chairs.

I'd be more worried about nuclear strikes in WW3 tbh. At the very least I don't think it would be prolonged enough to have drones hunting around destroyed apartment blocks for survivors. WW3 feels like it would be an incredibly front loaded affair compared to anything else before it.

that depends on how ww3 happens and for why. I feel like nukes will almosy always be a last resort bc the fallout especially in high quantities creates a lose lose situation. Even if the fallouts effext on the enviroment is isolated from your own country, who wants to conquer/occupy land irradiated land especially when much of the resources would be destroyed?

As far as the USA is concerned nukes are a much likelier threat than drone attacks. I could see it being a thing in say Europe or Asia. My original point though was that weaponry and warfare has advanced so much since WW2 that even with non-nuclear arms Great Powers have the capacity to severely damage each other very quickly. The only frames of reference we have for war in recent memory have been incredibly restrained affairs. WW3 would not be anything like that.

It's the loser that will fire nukes first. They would have nothing to lose.

It would be both. We would nuke each other but there would be pockets of survivors who had drones. And they would learn how to fight each other in the rubble of the destroyed world. And the war would keep going for years. That's how human ingenuity works. People get really smart as soon as it's about killing each other.
