LMAO imagine being so wingcucked as to actually believe that Hamas is undercounting deaths in Gaza.

Nobody believes that really. But activist orgs sometimes take the identified death count (around 52% women and children) and extrapolate the up to the full death count but assume much worse ratios to arrive at their final shocking figure of death women and children. A few months ago the UN was caught doing this to the point where their given estimates for women and children were found to have assumed that every single unID'd body was a woman or child.

At the end of the day "look how many people have died" isn't a credible argument against Israel's conduct. It's one that really only unserious people engage in. So it's whatever.

My favorite alternative number used to be 186,000 (which they arrived at by multiplying Hamas' numbers by 5, so now it would be 215,000). But then I saw new research which was ~120,000. It's lower than the other one, but the method they used was funnier. They just assumed that the UN and IPC weren't lying the whole time about famine in Gaza and then estimated the minimum number of deaths for the situation in Gaza to have qualified as a famine according to the IPC's own standards then added those in (also another 10,000 for unreported dead from bombing and 5,000 for unreported dead from disease, these numbers are of course arbitrary estimates with no methodology behind them).
