At the start of the year, Iran only had four S300 surface-to-air missile systems. In April, Israel took out one of the missile systems in response to Iran's first ballistic missile attack. A senior U.S. official confirmed the airstrikes took out the three S-300 missile systems.

It's so depressing to see Israel and Iran as enemies. And Lebanon. Three of the world's most interesting histories, who were allies (sort of) until that hand-wringing halfwit Jimmy Carter fricked it up by betraying the Shah.
I'd be willing to bet that a majority of educated Persians are still willing to be friends with Israel; the diaspora tends to be.
