So I first noticed it when I was scrolling through my reddit homefeed and I came across an /r/askSingapore posts asking about their thoughts on the Zoe Gabriel situation

Some online heroes stood up for her by saying," poor means cannot go overseas meh maybe save up eh" "You so kepo for what let her be". But some had that "oh, interesting" moment. Depends on how you perceive it.
So anyways, I tried to do some digging but nothing came up: reddit threads, news articles, YouTube videos, all nothing.

Tldr: sg based 17 yr old pinay tiktoker makes tiktok flexing and trying to attention seek 80 SGD Charles and Keith bag that her dad bought for her, gets 'backlash' from users (comments with 0-1 likes. For comparison, top positive comment has about 400 likes) saying that C&K not luxury bag. She gets butt hurt by the comments and makes another tiktok making sob story about how her family is low ses and cannot afford breadtalk (sg bread brand) (just buy bread from ntuc???). Then mothership being the gossip site, writes article about the situation, then article ofc blows up. Then all the brands wan sponsor her to get good impression from public (despite said brand not mentioned even: takagi ramen). Recently ppl just found out that she not that poor even. Branded clothings, accessories, vacation trips. (Grand piano and LV handbags as mentioned by askSingapore OP) (Heytea drinks as mentioned by a user in the tiktok screenshot).
I would've dug through her ig and tiktok account for the orginal pics and videos but as stated in the Chinese article she has already started deleting some of her photos showing off the stuff. So I dont think I'll be able to find any evidence left. So yeah, unless I find other threads online about it, dont think I'll be updating this anytime soon
