Singapore executes man for trafficking two pounds of cannabis

I was watching a documentary about Singapore jails and they were interviewing some Buddhist monk that worked there. He was talking about the poor conditions of the jail and when the topic of the drug smugglers being on death row he basically said druggies deserve to die. Got a chuckle out of me.

Singapore has one of the lowest crime rates in the world. Lower then Japan and Norway etc. Looks like they are doing something right.
