Codecels have nobody to blame but themselves.

Couldn't they just put restrictions on sale of AI core gpus? I'd imagine without those cores or whatever they'd be rather inefficient.

Deep learning's breakthrough a decade ago came before tensor cores, they're very much not necessary. Especially as standard GPU cores are still several orders of magnitudes faster than the ones they were using then
