Asian nerd's article dazzles some with facts and logic https://robkhenderson.substack.com/p/dropping-the-sat-requirement-is-a

But others immediately notice the problem. What about black people. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=35032586

Stupid Asian nerd forgot about (willfully ignored) black people.

Tbh if you think its a good idea to remove standardized tests from admissions, you're a fricking r-slur.

>one section is literal basic math with no actual calc

>reading section was literally just a literacy test that was legally required to have all answers directly in the text without any need for interpretation

>writing was admittedly bullshit because options for correcting grammar were all dogshit and nobody hand writes essays anyways

Ps college/medschool admissions is rife for nooticing drama on reddit

The cultural revolution is more important than competency. Meritocracy has always been the root of institutional Racism, but don’t shoot the messenger :marseydisagree:

Lol it's never been about meritocracy. As Orange Site commenters pointed out, this is about protecting legacy admissions.
