You're consuming the same number of milliamp hours no matter what speed you charge at (unless there's some really big added heat inefficiency from fast charging), so you're releasing the same amount of CO2 either way, right? Am I r-slurred?

Ok but if you charge when the power to your grid is being supplied predominantly by burning 500kg/s of coal vs predominantly by wind making some fans spin, there's a subtle difference in the CO2 released to charge your phone.
