You know I was kind of nervous about AI at first, but there are so many pearl clutching nerds at the helm crippling it that it's really no better than a google search for information. They have to chain it to the fricking ground to make sure it puts out right think. There's also now a push to make sure that these AI models use "appropriate" things to model. So in the future reddit is going to sell access to their data set and it's going to exclude anything that might be considered wrong think.

The scariest thing about AI is that it's not going to be programmed to think at all, and people are going to assume that if it says something it's doing so with authority. Basically the CNN of technology.
