"We're running a small experiment globally that urges viewers with ad blockers enabled to allow ads on YouTube or try YouTube Premium," they said via email. "Ad blocker detection is not new, and other publishers regularly ask viewers to disable ad blockers."

For Christmas I got my whole family youtube red on top of some really nice booze with the family bundle because none of them are smart enough to use an add blocker. They love it and everyone says its the best gift they have gotten in a while since they said they use it nonstop now that there is no adds.
