I don't see reddit disappearing anytime soon even if they kill old reddit, there are way too many official mobile app users who just consume the site like instagram or some other normie site and don't care if some app they've never heard of can't access the site. The site will just become another mobile app, not forgotten like digg, but the only users left will either be people who browse at work but don't know about old reddit, front page politics sub shills who need a computer to janny effectively, and ultra-normies who scroll the front page for subs like /r/adviceanimals and /r/bikinibottomtwitter. New reddit itself has been recently made worse on the desktop, by requiring right click :to: open image in new tab since opening images just reloads the page due to intentional :marseyretard: code, and flairs are randomly disabled when posts at random switch to a curvy mobile css when opened, so I would quit if it was made even worse and old reddit was removed, but most official app users won't even notice.
