Just get a sonoff zigbee coordinator and do it yourself. I have a network of like 10 different brands of device and don't use any of their apps or other bullshit.

Imagine if WiFi worked the way these stupid devices try to force on the consumer. Every brand having its own router despite them all using the exact same protocol

Personally I have smart bulbs cause my house is old and most rooms have no ceiling lights/switches, I just have a whole bunch of lamps and it sucks to turn them all on and off, but also smart home stuff is fun to mess around with

you can use it to add more switches. like having a switch that turns off all the lights in the house at once when youre going to bed. controlling it through an app is r-slurred.
