I have been misbehaved with, harassed and thoroughly bullied by this company. On top of that, I have received personal life threats as well as fictional cyber crime allegation threats from them
This is what I received after purchasing a domain from mitsu.in
Pathetic unprofessional behaviour
Harassment
Repeated 500 rupee threats
Wilful non-cooperation
Domain suspension with deceptive lies to legal nixi
Bullying
Personal life threats on call (To wipe my presence from India), jail threats on call
More jail threats upon request for refund (On mails)
Even more jail threats with 'fictional cyber crime allegations' upon further request for refund (On mails)
Public defamation from fake ID titled 'GOI-Official' (GOI - Government Of India)
No domain or refund
Denial of migration to any different Registrar

tl;dr: The .in Registry is badly mismanaged and you should stay away from using .in domains.
Edit: the hn link says [dead] now, does that mean it's jannied? Anyway the long post is at: https://www.namepros.com/threads/my-nightmarish-experience-with-mitsu-inc-the-great-indian-domain-heist.1318228

I don't think even kiwifarms in its darkest hours ever resorted to trying a .in domain

You seem just as insufferable as I would imagine the owner of a drama offshoot to be

India produces top tier tech workers. You think companies would make the switch to hiring H1Bs who do a worse job only because they are cheaper??
Jump in the discussion.

H1Bs, by definition, have left India. When dealing with a .in domain, you are guaranteed to get the bastard bloody type

Indian H1Bs are usually pretty good and deserve to be there.
But god forbid you have to deal with people who weren't good enough to get relocated anywhere. But this is true for all countries.
Even the indian guys know this. The ones I work with say this openly and every time I see them giving interviews they look like they have migraines

Yep, I immigrated to the US way back when on H1. I refuse to work with off shore teams after a couple of experiences that left me homicidal.
I never worked in an Indian workplace because I moved away immediately after college, so I never got to see the clusterfrick of a typical desi office.
Shit's full of toxicity, politics, incompetence, butt kissing and passing the blame. You'll find these to some extent in US corps too, but in India it's all juiced up to 11.

My dad suffered so much because of him having to turn down his job offer in US because my mom refused to come with him, its sad and hilarious. He had to leave the team he was with for more than a decade because of politics ruining it beyond salvage, and instead he got a head position in ai-ml with even more control because he was too valuable to let go. But now he is doing a masters in ai-ml just to make sure the data scientists aren't being incompetent r-slurs and with the infighting between that department and the others prove he was probably right in doing that.
