The process of most effective crypto currency mining operations is extremely resource intensive. Typically there are entire departments buying graphics cards, and other hardware driving up the price for other consumers, there are entire warehouses full of brazillians dedicated to these miniing operations, and the electricity they consume result in power outages that last for weeks sometimes. Me and @coned staked out one of these warehouses in Mexico one time. The cartels are forcing children as young as 5 yearsold to mine crypto which all go into the wallets of many middleclass americans. it's horrifying tbh.

How do they make kids mine crypto? Don't you just keep a program running on a computer and link it to your wallet?
