main document he drafted as a general code of conduct

main document in video, being solution to political divisions

honestly I think the solution document is pretty good, basically call people by whatever username they have, don't make echochamber's on groomercord or reddit and people should only be in those for genuine reasons, not so they can call themselves a "Rustacian" despite never using or contributing.

It's a shame leftists (not that this should be a uniquely leftist problem, but clearly it's expressing itself as one now) are throwing out free software principles.

Restricting development to only people you're ideologically agreeing with is a bad practice. "Nazis" (using decade old Democrat talking points) should be allowed to use your software and even develop on it, let the measurement of inclusion be on a technical basis.

This effort is dumb and gay. Establishing a COC (code of conduct) and BALs (basic acceptance license) is the right of the creator of the project. The modern codemonkey has so few outlets to express xer agency onto the world that enforcing an r-slured hugbox document is the best they're going to get.

It really sucks that hoobyists are slowly pushed out by activists.

Codes of conduct are so neurodivergent and unnecessary anyway. They remind me of that massive wall of text on the rules page that all forums have that no one ever reads or pays any attention to. Just don't be too much of a peepee and prepared to get kicked if you behave poorly enough to annoy a mod. That's basically the real rule of every internet community out there and it's all you really need

Why do you persist on trying to claim that 5.1 doesn't say exactly what it says. Also, why are you still here?

You're a manipulative traitor. A traitor to us, a traitor to open source, a traitor to America, and a traitor to humanity.
