About to try out OpenSUSE for the first time, anything I should know?

It's okay but zypper is kind of slow and it's kind of hard to find certain software packages. But then OpenSUSE people get their version of the AUR anyway.

I'd say it'll be like running fedora linux but setting up the proprietary and codex repositories'll be more of a b-word for some reason.

Also things break if you set a non posix shell because the OpenSUSE people don't do whatever all the other distros do to make sure the root always uses bash or something.
