Blood is pretty fun actually. I think I got it for free from a GOG giveaway or something.
One nonobvious thing about it: it's literally unplayable on higher difficulties because there's nothing much you can do about hitscan enemies with zero reaction time delay. Luckily it has a "made to order" difficulty option, where you can select medium difficulty as base, then turn the number of enemies to the max, then it becomes fun as frick!

There's also the fact that the hand QTEs are tied to CPU speed and are busted on modern hardware.
That and the game is the hardest in a trilogy of build engine games with increasingly BS difficulty.
