There was a defcon where the dude showed like 10 ways to knock out drones. Many have unsecured local WIFI for example. A proper file run over the terminals of a 9 v battery will do it too

Tell me more about the second, it reads like schizo babble

It probably is schizo babble. Itll put out a little bit of EMI but probably not enough and in the right bands to mess with anything. Now a unshielded microwave might do it since they both operate at 2.4 ghz

I've been wanting to do something like this to induce enough current in speakers to pop them, is the concept of "emit radiation at specific frequency" the same?

I'm not experienced with signals or electronics so I don't know what components or keywords I need to research.

I would be careful with your research, but understand that the government gave us 2.4 ghz because it makes water resonate, and therefore was considered useless. Most electronics today still use that band, and microwaves use it because it does make water vibrate hence heading up your food. Its a magnetron inside there, and without the faraday cage of the microwave, could probably frick alot of shit up, including you if you arent careful, Im only speaking academically of course, the FCC bans interference with other products
