y-y-you need to be familiar with what sql can offer a consumer I recommend googling "What can I use sql for" and seeing if any of those things seem monetizable (they always will be because normie are lazy)

@timmy_blueballs was hoping too learn multiple programming language related stuff over the course of a month or two and the moment @timmy_blueballs finish quick learning anything @timmy_blueballs would offer @timmy_blueballs's services online as a freelancer in that field. Hopefully it works out. @timmy_blueballs shall follow you're advice but @timmy_blueballs will still ask here as well because @timmy_blueballs figure dramanauts are smarter than the google engine in current year.

Yeah like I dabbled in Python, not enough to be self sufficient, but enough to have Chat-GPT fart out a skeleton program and I debug/add to it.

Anyhow, the two things I've learned on my odyssey into technology is that you have to be persistent in solving your problem, which may involve you going back a step or two and attacking it from a different, better documented angle. And two is that to normies coding is wizardry. My managers solution was to hire 25 people to manually input data from spreadsheet to spreadsheet and OCR'd documents, my solution was to automate it.

My manager gawped at me when I showed her and literally told me I was doing magic, in only a half-ironic way. I realize I went into the wrong degree field with humanities, but I never knew it would be this easy.

@timmy_blueballs's low self esteem really fricked @timmy_blueballs over, any time @timmy_blueballs would be making progress in coding @timmy_blueballs couldn't figure out why people would pay for this and give up, thinking only the really advanced @timmy_blueballs cannot comprehend levels of code could make money.

@timmy_blueballs know better now. Just keep advertising yourself and keep making you're code less r-slurred everyday. @timmy_blueballs an 14% done with the SQL lessons on W3schools.

Most in-house business level programming in my opinion is relatively easy to implement and do, but hard to get approval for.

For example it took two weeks to get approval for me to install python on my work laptop. Like thirty people were emailed, and it was only approved accidentally. They meant to reject it, but once it was approved they shrugged and said "eh"...

My point is that you need to emphasize obvious but measurable value to your supervisors. I work in an office job, so I just need to demonstrate my value to my supervisor, put in two weekends for a proof of concept model, and then go to town. Some managerial moron wanted to get out IT department in on it, and I'm almost done now before we've had our first meeting.
