Heck yeah brother. Canon imageclass, had it for maybe a decade now, only on my second toner cartridge but I know for a fact that it'll print without fuss, immediately.

People are like "but what about color printing?" What about it. How often do you actually need color printing? The average person is best off having a B&W laser, then making a trip to Walmart or Kinkos in the once-every-three-years event they need color

Preach

Before smartphones when you wanted to show your grandma a picture, maybe I guess color printing kind of made sense. And you could get those refill kits for $15

It's not like a color laser printer is that much more expensive either, if you really want to have the option. That's why I did.

How is the photo quality? I assume most home users who want to print in color are doing photos.

I haven't looked at an inkjet in forever but I know through the 2010s, costs and reliability aside, a consumer inkjet had far better photo-printing quality than a consumer laser

Honestly haven't tried it for photos but yes inkjets are bound to do better at that (but then you should also get suitable paper). It's just nice to have a little color choice for letterhead or graphs.

ah yeah i suppose.

best choice for a home user is b&w laser if they're just printing tax forms and Menards rebate reciepts, color laser if they have a student who needs to print color graphs for homework. either way, use a Kinkos to print photos.
