You can tell who is using AI for text ads too. They all start with "Elevate." Microsoft is terrible with this.

Other common AI phrases I see in writing where you know the shitty writer used AI:

>robust system (or describing anything as robust)

>keen interest

>visually appealing (common with graphics designers)

>___a question like do you want this thing or that thing?__ Look no further!

These are a few that come to mind quickly. What I find funny is that a lot of it sounds like jeet writing.

There is a company called ScaleAI hiring a shit ton of freelancers for voice and text work. They have no budget for high priced people, so they offer jeet levels of payment. They can't seem to find anyone but jeets to do the work, so their product will be very awkward engrish.

Its why you either need to pretext how you want chatgpt to phrase things or review it yourself and make changes fitting to your tastes.

I'm working on an AI project now and the consensus among the experts (that I work with anyway) is that it's great for evergreen stuff but not anything new like news info or trending topics. I have bias of course but I've been asked to make AI writing more human and everything I've been handed is very general boring things that have already been done to death online.

I recently had someone ask me to quote them on taking a mainly AI ebook and "fix" it. It's an interesting thing because I can catch AI now pretty easily. The writing was grammatical but it was very empty. That's the huge issue with AI writing. It says a lot of nothing, similar to jeet writing.

I haven't tried it for coding but I'm curious to look at it one of these days.

Have one instance of the AI find topics/content similar to the trending topic, generate a prompt based on that topic. Feed that prompt into a second instance to create content about the trending topic

I've been told things are better if you use something like Claude to edit ChatGPT. I'm probably more aware of things more than the average reader, but I haven't seen AI say anything of substance. It's always so vague. And then you can't trust what it says. You can't trust what humans say either but the errors in AI are so dumb. I did a search just yesterday to find out the number of seasons for a particular TV show. The answer is 6 but Google's AI told me 12.

you are holding it wrong! llm are not information retrieval cowtools like google, and they are not oracles that will give you some kind of divine revelation.

they are powerful word calculators. if you have a specific word based task they are great.

examples would be:

-translate this into french

-rewrite this text and make it sound like its from an startup tech organization

-give me a short story about space pirates that miss their moms and hate hard bread and make it funny

-highlight the important parts of this text.

-create a title and description for this text

-give me examples of funny twist you could put into this story.

-create a limerick about this product and put some pop culture references into it.
