What do you mean? If you download a game from Steam you don't technically own it due to their licensing bullshit. I'm saying that concept as a whole is ridiculous and should be done away with instead of just warning people.

For lots of steam games you can just copy all the files from the install folder and run they with a third party steam emulator (or even entirely on its own if the dev checked that option). Its entirely up to devs how much drm they include on steam.
