Another Day, Another cute trans womyn blogpost on orange site!!

https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41953537

Here is an interesting drinking game: go on the front page of HN and whenever you click on a blogpost that is overly performative feminine (pink/purple CSS, overly cutesy, anime, presenting some r-slurred female name like lilith) go to the about page and check if they are a heckin cute nonbinary individual and take a shot. Also if there is a woman who is genuinely interested in tech and has their own blog that is a red flag in the first place. Cis scum women are only interested in the most NPC shit ever so this never happens with biofoids.

Some times ago I read a blog post explaining how mismanaged Cohost was (I can't find it anymore).

Basically the multiple owner/devs paid themselves FAANG salaries and they kept delaying any sort of monetization features, preferring to work on "more fun" stuff, so they never really had ways of making money. The monetization features were very simple things like a "Donate" button.

Even when they saw things were going bad financially they refused to re-evaluate their salary or do any other changes because "their company was also proof that you don't need to renounce money to work on stuff that is not evil" or something stupid like that
