Seriousposting for a minute: So my BS meter was pegged off the scale immediately and turns out I was right

The Perturb-seq method uses CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing to introduce genetic changes into cells, and then uses single-cell RNA sequencing to capture information about the RNAs that are expressed resulting from a given genetic change. Because RNAs control all aspects of how cells behave, this method can help decode the many cellular effects of genetic changes.

crispr is like editing the population of an ant coloy with a hammer. Sure you can adjust the number, but there are gonna be some unforseen side effects. Saying they now know everything about everything in a cell is like saying "when we hit the anthill on this side, ants did this but when we hit it on that side, ants did that. Garbage-in-garbage-out but on a million-dollar grant-funded system.

I do respect the grift but I can't respect the outcome when they are literally playing with stuff they don't understand and claiming it's useful new knowledge when they get any result.

Because RNAs control all aspects of how cells behave

and we let them inject covid mRNA into our bodies

Purebloods didn't LOL

Covid alters your genome ... in this case, in liver cells: https://www.mdpi.com/1467-3045/44/3/73/htm

oh well at least it doesn't get into your liver from the jab ...wait, I'm being handed a note... https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK570468/

well maybe that was a fluke ... hold on... https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8372667/

but surely those were the only two....https://www.express.co.uk/life-style/health/1581086/Pfizer-vaccine-side-effects-kidney-stones-acute-liver-failure-hepatotoxicity

But since the liver was the only organ that came to mind just now, probably all the other bodily systems are safe.

“Kidney stones are found among people who get Pfizer BioNTech Covid Vaccine, especially for people who are female, 60+ old, and after 30 days of getting the vaccine."

So we'll create a few thousand r-slur babies missing important bodily functions whose entire existence is pain before figuring out supermen. Get over it pansy! :marseybuff:

This, but unironically. We could make a massive amount of progress if a couple scientists are willing to get tried in the Hague later.

Agreed

Collectivist mindset + lack of ethical standards is 100% why Gyna will win. Superhuman clone army inc :marseyflagchina::marseyflagchina::marseyflagchina::marseyflagchina::marseyflagchina:

Can't even be mad about it tbh. Whatever gets us colonizing other planets (relatively) faster, and at this point China taking over the entire world seems more likely to do that than Elon Musk soloing while the US spergs out and regresses in intelligence/education to appease wokies

also: they were studying cancer cells, so maybe don't claim we now know everything about the human genome starting from studying a disease?
