Ask a “real” engineer to solve a hard software problem and they won’t be able to do it despite all the googling in the world. Ask a software engineer to solve a “real” engineer problem and it will get done eventually. Difference is ability to collate knowledge.

That's the point chud. Some professions are open to whoever has an internet connection and the ability to learn, some are only open to people who slogged through 4 years of university and passed a licensure exam.

Auto cad was easy as frick. I remember using it to draw peepees for the last 45 minutes of class because the assignments we had were easy enough to get done in 25 minutes
