Ownership isn't that complicated. Just picture it like you're playing factorio sending stuff into functions and then back out again. Lifetime annotations can be rather annoying though and I wish they'd have designed that part a bit differently.

Rust syntax is so exceptionally ugly and r-slurred. Even Java makes more sense. What kind of a non-intuitive language expects you to return functions just by declaring the variable again, like what the frick is this powershell scripting?

Why doesn't anyone add a borrow checker to c/cpp? Why do they literally have to reinvent the whole car just to add one extra component?
