furthermore: as far as I can see they don't describe in detail what their service is or how it works at all. All they have is a simplified and in several cases wrong explanation of what VPNs are in general, and what Tor is. also there are basic spelling and grammar issues

ok, I think I understand the architecture. It's kinda like Tor except there's only one hop, i.e. nothing at all like Tor and allows you to easily be deanonymized by any malicious node. In addition, I'm not sure how the client application works but I am not confident that the way nodes are advertised is itself decentralized, since they don't mention it anywhere, so in that case you would take on the same risk of the company being malicious or compromised that you would with any commercial VPN service (because they could just feed you their own bad nodes), plus more risk because any anonymous node can also be malicious.
