All the r-slurs arguing that wind and solar being intermittent is irrelevant because batteries exist is unironically making me seethe.

People really seem to think we make nearly enough batteries to make every car on the road electric and our power grid absolutely dependent on them within a decade. I’m going to smug post to all these r-slurs every day when we have a battery shortage that makes the current wave of chip shortages look like a mild inconvenience.
