The reason for this is as follows:
1. America goes out of its way to support Israel no matter what in the middle east as it is the only western nation in the middle east.
2. European Union keeps expanding geographically every single decade.
3. The US maintains a stable rate of immigrant inflows leading to total population growth even as the internal population by itself is on the decline.
4. The Eastern societies are set up to industrialize fast and burn themselves out in the process and die out by the end long before becoming as powerful as the western powers.
5. The US clamps down on any nation state that comes close to being able to compete with it.
6. If we count both US and Europe as the west then the west is clearly expanding both geographically and in terms of global population share.
7. While the East is set to decline in population, western populations remain on the rise.
8. All western FDI is primarily focused on strategically relevant partners that increase western power and influence across the globe along with providing trade benefits.
Taking these factors into account we can clearly see a pattern where the west does not allow any of the western states to turn into anything that would be considered ideologically non-western. Meanwhile the west continues to expand generation after generation as neighboring cultures are assimilated by the western meme complex.
By the year 2100 we are guaranteed to see a fully united European federation, and we are also guaranteed a Latin America that only exists to feed the manpower requirements of a continually growing USA.
Thus, the west is clearly expanding, aware of the fact that it is expanding, and actively working to ensure that other powers cannot expand similarly to keep up either geographically or in terms of manpower.
