I've started to see more and more people acshuallypost about snowden though, which usually didn't happen. That means that if we give it a few years (or a lost election that they can blame him for), he will probably get the assange treatment. Which means that for them he will go from being a brave hero going against the US government machine to being a Russian pawn traitor that they hate so much and so blindly that they'd probably start fundraising for the NSA/ask for more surveillance to own the Russians.
