Soybois civil war :marsoy: :marseysoypoint: :soyjakhipster: can’t decide on Twitter if paying extra 30buks to play n64 is worth it

https://twitter.com/NintendoAmerica/status/1449023950957252646

“ It's $60 each year for PlayStation, so at least this is still cheaper than that lol.”

“ Goated Better deal than getting N64 games seperatly and the animal crossing dlc seperate

Nintendo is awesome”

Mon absolutely subjective opinion is that there are only 2 n64 games that are more than 32mb and you can play n64 game on calculators so only insane person would pay for a game where most developers who worked on that game are dead, roped or are homeless so pirating is ok in such case

imagine paying for digital copies. At least NFTs are unique

>unique

It's literally that easy to exactly replicate an NFT. Like the equivalent for a painting would be somehow duplicating every one of its component atoms exactly. At that point, you can get philosophical about it but common sense says it's both not unique, and worthless (unless you wanted the art and paid the artist to commission it in the first place, that actually makes sense). And unlike real paintings, you don't get the fun fact of knowing that the artist's hands actually made the exact item sitting in front of you. It's literally impossible for your JPG to not be a copy of the original work done by the artist, so what makes one copy worth more than another?

I guess there are like tickets for virtual BS, like second life style shit, but idk how prevalent that is over the "literal JPGs" variety

This is easily solved by just having better DRM, which would benefit everyone.

I impulse bought a Switch a few years ago and I’m going to find it and buy this. N64 was fun.

If you have a jailbreakable switch than just jailbreak it. Than you get a better emulator for n64 than what Nintendo is giving you + you wouldn’t be limited by games they give you. Like the only n64 games I would been interested to play is bad fury day and perfect dark but Nintendo doesn’t give those games

I bought it for piracy and playing hardcore weeb games like no more heroes 3 and xenoblade 2. But the best use ironically was fit ring adventure and boxing fitness. Squat 30 times to take away 10% hp of a boss is kinda motivating

I'm a former runner and old as frick so I get a lot of my cardio by playing that on a harder setting. No shit It's the only thing I use it for.

With Nintendo track record on n64 ports its probably going to run worse than a rom on a mid grade PC. I remember how much input delay Mario 64 and OoT had on WiiU.

I think one of reason it’s happens because developers like any other people are losing IQ. Things like optimization is, devs now just brute force it. Not long ago I played ff10 and was amazed how the game was made, it had a lot of different texture a better writings and game play than the latest ff. The f15 is just random generated one big empty map. Same is with assasins creed, 2 game had some story and a functional city but vahala is a big map with a lot tiny random generated small islands. So thanks that gaming becomes more mainstream everyone wants to invest a penny and get in return millions like pubg

I think its also because the of how limited the games were at the time that the developers had to get really creative and jam pack small area with as much content as they could. That why games like Majora's Mask feel so much more lively than games like Breath of the Wild

Anyone who pays 20+ year-old games that can easily be pirated and emulated is a cuck.

Of all the g*mers in the world, I really do hate Nintendrones the worst. Nintendrones and people who play naughty dog games are so insufferable, so deluded. I had an argument with one of them, and it got to the point where the dude outright told me "fan service is a feature."

I want to see an IQ study done on people who still get excited over video games past the age of 18.

First off, son, I’m way too smart to go to prison for punching Nazis. I punch, knock ‘em out and then walk away, leaving them for the cops and they end up arrested, not me.

Now, if I did end up in prison somehow, my philosophy would still hold true. Go up to an Aryan Brotherhood member, punch ‘em in the face. After a while, word would get around about my Nazi punching skills and i would be what they call in prison a “shot caller.” Nothing happens in the yard without my say so.

Son, you have to believe in your own skill set and understand it will take you far. I’ve spent years honing my Nazi punching skills and I’m unstoppable.

I hope you’ve learned a little something today. s
