While I was on the phone, he ran over to the college corner and ripped my gown and bent my cap. Then he just randomly hit whatever he could until the SRO dragged him out.

I guess it depends on how "functioning" they end up becoming. I can't imagine people like this being able to hold down a job in the long-term.

I guess they'll live off their parents/relatives until they die and then live off any inheritance left. Most probable end for them is homelessness.

We had r-slurs in regular schools but with their own classes and limited participation in normal classes. The county also has a special school for extreme yards off in the woods near where I grew up. My friends and I used to put on camo and observe them with binoculars for research purposes.
