More comments on the same post as the DMCA I reported in the June 2022 canary about the GDP lawsuit. This DMCA was steaming bullshit, and I resent complying with it, but we currently benefit from not picking fights we don't have to.
Basically, the June DMCA was (ostensibly) over a thumbnail from the linked news article. This DMCA was over three comments (posted by rDrama users) containing links to articles with more information. It's obviously some PR firm for the "victims" trying to purge all record of it from the Internet, and they know most sites will roll over (like we did): there is no copyright theory on Earth that says three comments written by private individuals containing links are somehow the IP of this PR firm or their clients.
