Call of Duty is a military/government psyop.
Military documents show how the Dept of Defense works closely with COD producers to make them more "credible advocates" for the US war machine.https://t.co/aTAp8xHnbz
Drama
It truly amazes me that the r-slurs who reeeee about captalism never take a step back and wonder "Am i being r-slurred?"
The all-encompassing message of Call of Duty is this: “Everything the US Armed Forces does is justified, because they always do what MUST be done - even the war crimes.” Sickening

Maybe it is but I’m still playing it
The problem is that children play this and they don't know any better, They are gullible. You are able to separate fiction from reality.
When I was a child, I watched road runner cartoons. Not once have I tried dropping an anvil on anyone.
"Everything is propaganda and only I can see it"
Its over for the US. They've been found out

I haven’t played a cod game since 4 but the message seems to be “this is our job and we support our bothers” which is the same as the Marines and presumably the other services and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that
And it seems to me if you want to make a reasonably accurate military story then you probably should work with the DoD

Not anymore. Since 2009, the theme has basically become another Tier One OPER8R circlejerk, completely abandoning the idea of playing a normal guy. They flirted with it in MW2019 where you played a Totally-Not-Peshmerga soldier, which I thought was very clever. But then they just went back to SAS Navy SEAL Delta PMC Shadow Black Op.
