There has to be a cultural element as well though, there's a reason first gen immigrants from certain countries outpreform every other demographic. It's not as if Nigerians are treated much better than American blacks. If ethnic communities can largely perform better than why can't they also perform worse?

Poorer areas have schools that are underfunded and preform worse, many mostly black areas are poorer, this is more of an issue with the school/class system than a race issue.

Denying that there's a racial element is r-slured but it's not the only or even the biggest issue, it might be convienient for certain people to make it the biggest issue though :marseythinkorino:

Pretty much only the case in America, and it's weird that people use that as a proof of anything. You have the opposite happening in France, Spain, UK, etc. because the migrants that go there are your average Africans hopping the fence or fetching a ride on a boat. The ones that come to the US need some sort of a visa - a student, workers, whatever, so you get distinctly upper class Africans. It's the same with (vast majority of) Asians, btw.
