I really doubt that a lot of new :marseytrain:s are feeling exactly as to how women from birth feel internally. I think it does actually happen but you sort of see this thing in kids from an early age, and a lot of current mtfs are on the spectrum with a suspicious lack of female interests.

I’m more inclined to believe that people with neurodivergent traits tend to have a more vague understanding of their own self-image, so they’re very impressionable when it comes to their self-identity; especially so if they have co-morbid mental health problems like depression. It’s easy for someone like that to insert themselves into a narrative that sort of makes sense, has backing from the medical establishment and is a type of escapist fantasy.

It’s a real mess because I don’t think we’re telling men that’s it’s okay to be feminine without :marseytrain2:ing out. There’s a lot of men who would probably benefit enormously from self-acceptance, diet and exercise, more than they ever would from transitioning.

Genuinely congrats on your progress. Weight loss is genuinely one of the hardest things to maintain, and 70 pounds over a couple years is no joke. You put in a lot of effort to refuse cravings and your mind. That's not easy at all. Keep it up drama fan, your progress is not unnoticed.
