Subscription to buying lottery tickets. Automatically deduct DC for entry into every lottery.
Snappy's MegaDramaMillions Lottery. Instead of Snappy burning every DC it makes, pool into into a lottery. Users can buy one - and only one - ticket to enter Snappy's lottery. (Cost of ticket can either be burned or also contribute to Snappy's Lottery pool).
Reason for this is that a big downside of the Lottershe is that 1) the pool is dependent 100% on ticket sales and 2) you can buy multiple tickets. In the real world this isn't a big deal, because there are millions of people who participate. But on this site where there are 10k registered users, ~500 active at peaks, and a few dozen that regularly participate in the lottery, it's trivial for someone to just buy 90% of the tickets in circulation. It's not a satisfying win for the winner because they are either just recuperating costs or barely profiting out, and it's not really satisfying for the rest of the users either because of the perception of how the lottery works.
Don't replace Lottershe, but add Snappy's Lottery alongside it as simply a different game with different rules. The whole "everyone gets 1 ticket, gets an equal chance at winning" would be appealing and likely draw more participating - or at least different participants - than the Lottershe.
Winner of Snappy's MegaDramaMillions Lottery gets the DC Snappy had accumulated up until that point, + ticket sales (if that is sensible).
